Persistent or intense pain that does not settle or wakes you at night.
A tooth knocked out, cracked, or broken after an accident.
Facial or gum swelling, or signs of infection around a tooth.
A crown, filling, or restoration that has come loose or fallen out.
Bleeding from the mouth or gums that does not stop with gentle pressure.
Phone 604-439-0500 and describe what happened. We will help you decide what to do next.
Rinse gently with warm salt water. Follow package directions if using over-the-counter pain relief.
Handle a knocked-out tooth by the crown, not the root, and keep it moist in milk or saliva.
Apply gentle, steady pressure with clean gauze. A cold compress outside can ease swelling.
Save a lost crown, filling, or tooth fragments and bring them to your appointment.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, difficulty breathing, or uncontrolled bleeding, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Tell us what happened and our team will guide you from there. Mon–Sat, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
